Large Mobile Storage Racks for New Television Centre in Turkmenistan.
Following a successful inaugural Mobile Storage installation in Turkmenistan in 2010, Office Storage
Solutions were chosen to manufacture and install one of the largest Roller Rack Mobile Storage orders ever received for the
imposing new TV Tower project in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.
Constructed by Turkish company, Polimeks, the TV Tower rises high into the Ashgabat sky line and is 211 metres
in height. Features include a viewing terrace at 100 & 150 metres, a restaurant at 135 metres and a revolving
restaurant at 145 metres, as well as VIP Lounges, Technical Areas and underground parking for up to 200 vehicles.
The 3rd Floor of this impressive building is the location for the mobile storage system installed by Office Storage Solutions.
Specifically designed for the storage of Tapes & Discs, the racking system provides over 1,100 storage bays that provide 7,500 linear metres of filing capacity!
All of the system components were manufactured in the UK before being transported via road directly to the site. OSS flew our own installation engineers
to the site to fully oversee the installation project which was constructed by a Turkish workforce. The entire project took just 5 weeks to complete!
